[BG] Ghana gets new president

Ghana's new president is 53 year old John Dramani Mahama, who is a writer and historian.


He had been the vice president before he was sworn in as president yesterday evening following the sudden death of former John Atta Mills :(
That is what we can call a smooth transition.
